About the Author
"I've been writing fan fiction on and off for about 10 years. I first got started at a younger age by writing up character bio's for my brothers RPG-playing friends, and then expanded into writing about their various adventuring exploits. I enjoyed it and branched into writing about television shows I watched.
I mainly wrote fiction for Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and a couple of other TV shows that I did on request. But I wanted to challenge myself and was looking for something that would be different and more original.
I found and was intrigued by the LCK website and the interviews that the LCK girls gave. Inspired by their answers and a lot of the vivid artwork on the site, I wanted to explore these characters and the world they inhabited. I wanted to help them come alive even more.
What you read here is a collaboration with [craigos] himself, intended to bring Madison's origins to light, to tell her story, as well as explain how all the other girls came into her life and are intertwined with it."
-- Declan (... is my secret pseudonym.....also one of my actual names, but that's all you get.)
"You all know by now how this whole thing started. A looooong time ago in a country far, far away, I spent considerable time developing a screenplay -- in part a visual fantasy, in part the product of a creatively restless mind. The movie was called Retribution, and the main character in it went by the name of Madison Shaw.
The screenplay went nowhere, of course, but Madison never died. And here we are, many years later, continuing the expansion of not just her world, but the whole LCK universe. New ideas, new characters, new directions...
When Declan, quite randomly, proposed the notion of writing fan fiction for LCK, I think he was a bit surprised by the enthusiasm of my response. This journey together started for us in early September 2014, and while we have been talking and I've been able to fill him in on the LCK girls' details and history and throw in some random ideas, the ultimate result -- the writing, the action, the story -- is all his.
I am incredibly proud of how far this site has come. I am equally excited to be able to share Declan's stories with you. He's a true LCK fan, and it shows in his fiction.
I hope you all enjoy reading these stories as they unfold as much as I have!"
